The Summit Schedule
The top subscription authors in the world will be in attendance with an experience designed to help authors just getting started in their career and those already making a living but looking to get to the next level.
Please Note: No meals are included in the summit ticket, but all restaurants chosen will be budget-friendly and purely optional to eat at (you can always come and hangout!).
May 6: Day One
Subscription Success Day
Learn the secrets of starting and scaling a successful subscription from authors of varying genres and backgrounds.
9 AM - 12:30 PM: Subscription Foundations

12:30 PM to 2:00 PM: Lunch | Subscription Strategy Luncheon

Small luncheons with groups of 10 - 15 authors curated by specific goals + subscription background. Attendance to these is strictly optional.

2:00 PM to 5:00 PM: Subscription Superfans

A masterclass on creating great experiences for your readers and monetizing through subscriptions. We will cover the three pillars of production + craft, marketing, and management + scaling.
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM: Dinner | Subscription Salons
@Restuarants in South + Downtown Boston
Intimate conversations about core topics impacting the future of publishing. Each salon is hosted by industry experts and be an open space to learn and share insights. Attendance to these is strictly optional.
May 7: Day Two
Subscription Archetype Day
Subscription success is just the beginning of building a thriving author platform.
We'll explore how you can use other sales avenues to supercharge your subscription and have your subscription bolster the rest of your publishing business.
By the end of the day, we hope you have key insights on how to succeed in YOUR author archetype.
9 AM - 12:30 PM: Subscriptions + Retailers and Serial Fiction Platforms

12:30 PM to 2:00 PM: Lunch | Subscription Genre Luncheon
Small luncheons focused on best practices in craft + marketing for authors in your genre. Attendance to these is strictly optional.

Venue: The EpiCenter
The Subscriptions for Authors Team is passionate about community and curating an environment for you to connect with and learn from other authors.
The EpiCenter contains a beautiful foyer for intimate conversations and a main space that can fit 300 authors (yes, we have a strict limit of attendees!).
It is centrally located to the metro station and airport, with tons of great food and entertainment around.
Artists for Humanity, the non-profit that owns the venue, is an organization that supports teen artists from under-privileged communities in Boston. The entire venue is decorated with art made by these amazing teens, and the fee we pay to the venue goes toward supporting this great non-profit.
Transportation and Lodging
The Subscriptions for Authors Summit does not have an official room block at any hotel, but we do have a roommate program at two Boston area hotels to help you split the costs of lodging with friendly fellow authors. You can learn more here.
In addition, we have free transportation between participating hotels and the conference venue! We are calling it the Reamobile... it's going to be a lot of fun.
Note: we will also be using the Reamobile to help authors with accessibility needs travel between the Summit venue and any of the Salon and Luncheon locations.

The SFA Summit Ticket
Yep, it includes all of the above for one low-price of $249.
We have a strictly limited capacity for attending authors. Once we sell out, there will be no more tickets made available.
Your time to join us and supercharge your subscription author career... is now.
We understand travel plans change. Until March 30, 2024, we will accept transfers of in-person tickets. When you request a transfer, we will give another author the opportunity to purchase the ticket at the same price you paid and then refund you once the transfer has been complete. Transfer tickets will immediately have priority for new attendees to purchase. If a transfer can't be made successfully, then there will be no refund made to the original purchaser. There will be no transfers after March 30, 2024. The SFA Team will handle all transfers at no cost to you. Just email us at hello@subscriptionsforauthors.com to request a transfer.
The conference WILL be recorded. We will also be hosting a completely virtual summit a couple of weeks after the in-person summit. Please Note: All in-person tickets include a ticket to the virtual summit as well.
The conference does not have a formal room block. However, we do have some hotel recommendations, which you can find in this document: [ https://docs.google.com/document/d/16PEAXxYO16j5Lrs-LU8OrelIxMBpB_xYp7jJYGhl3XY/edit?usp=sharing ] That document will also give you some inforamtion on our rommate exchange program as well. Boston is a city with amazing public transit and staying anywhere along the Red Line of the metro will give you easy access to Broadway Station where the Artists for Humanity EpiCenter (100 W 2nd St, Boston, MA 02127) is located just a few minutes walk away. We will also run a free shuttle between the venue and the recommended hotels, but space is limited, so please plan accordingingly.
You can bring any friends, co-authors, or partners you'd like to the Summit. Due to limited space, every individual attendee must purchase a ticket to the summit.
